OVERLAND PARK, KS - Today, Congressman Kevin Yoder received the endorsements of Sheriff Frank Denning (Johnson County), Sheriff Don Ash (Wyandotte County), and Sheriff Frank Kelly (Miami County).

Congressman Kevin Yoder said, "I am thankful for the support of Sheriffs Denning, Ash, and Kelly, but most of all I'm eternally grateful for their dedication to protecting our communities. They, and the men and women they lead, have accepted the call of duty with a servant's heart, always putting others above themselves. Because of them, my girls and our children are able to sleep soundly at night free of fear and danger. We owe them a debt of gratitude we will never be able to repay, but I work every day in Congress to try and provide them with the resources they need to continue doing their vitally important work."

Sheriffs Denning, Ash, and Kelly issued the following joint statement: "We are proud to endorse Congressman Kevin Yoder for reelection. He is a vital partner at the federal level in helping us achieve our mission of ensuring our communities are safe and secure and has steadfastly stood by law enforcement throughout our recent tragic losses of three officers. The Third District couldn't ask for a better representative in Congress."
